The Salt Seal range comprises four separate grades of ground sodium chloride salt designed to augment the weighting
and basic bridging properties of The Salt Pill. Approximate PSD (Particle Size Distribution) in microns for the four Salt

Size Salt I is added primarily to increase the density of the pill using solid salt. Size Salt II, III and IV are added primarily
when greater permeabilities/pore throat size/sand screen gaps/rock fractures need to be sealed temporarily
When used alone, The Salt Pill will seal uniform permeabilities up to 10,000 millidarcies when mixed at 50ppb with a
density of 10.5 ppg (1.25 s.g.). Considerably higher permeabilities can be sealed, including mini and microfractures,
by adding Size Salt to The Salt Pill.
